How decimal-time conversion works
Minutes become decimal hours by dividing by 60. Decimal hours return to time by multiplying by 60 and rounding to the nearest whole minute.
Two decimal places are convenient for display; three or four retain more precision. WorkTime Hub keeps exact minutes before formatting the result.
Worked example
45 minutes ÷ 60 = 0.75 hours. In reverse, 7.75 × 60 = 465 minutes, or 7 hours 45 minutes.
